Mohenjo-daro is located west of the Indus River in Larkana District, Sindh, Pakistan, in a central position between the Indus River and the Ghaggar-Hakra River. It is situated on a Pleistocene ridge in the middle of the flood plain of the Indus River Valley, around 28 kilometres (17 mi) from the town of Larkana.
The name Mohenjo-daro is reputed to signify “the mound of the dead.” The archaeological importance of the site was first recognized in 1922, one year after the discovery of Harappa. Subsequent excavations revealed that the mounds contain the remains of what was once the largest city of the Indus civilization.
Mohenja Daro is a good movie. Not as bad as the negative publicity makes it out to be. Its made well and has a story that doesn't bore you but its still a love story like every other Bollywood film. It could have been a great movie if not for the flaws that stand out and keep it from becoming a classic.
